Lead Artist / Lead Designer / Chief Operating Officer
Developed several VR training environments and for the United States Navy BUMED overseen by the United States Navy Surgeon General. Led a team responsible for creating a 1:1 scale model of the USNS Comfort. Created a VR mechanical maintenance trainer for the United States Navy Seawolf Submarine program. Assisted in development of an A-10 flight simulator for the United States Air Force. These VR training applications incorporated 16 networked users in one environment while being physically tracked in a 40’x40’ space. Assisted in the development of UX/UI for VR applications.
VR USN Database Design and Development – Led a development team for a US Navy project to provide a prototype virtual reality training application. The goal was to enhance the training of navy cadets by training them in the patient flow paths through the US Navy mercy class hospital ship the USNS Comfort. Created and managed assets in a Unity environment, including developing the style and asset guidelines.
VR USNS Comfort Model – Created a fully interactive VR model of the USNS Comfort. Model was created in high detail from blueprints. This included 7 decks from bow to stern training the 12 main departments of patient flow. All compartments and rooms are fully modeled at 1:1 scale with working elevators. The application achieved full interaction with all medical equipment and patients while collaborating in a networked environment.
VR BUMED Medical Equipment Creation – Created over 500 medical equipment assets for the United States Navy Surgeon General training application. All medical assets created are fully functional, this includes: the ability to manipulate/move the object, interact with buttons and touch screens. Objects also incorporated internal components for maintenance and repair training. Assets created utilizing the PBR development pipeline for high detail.
VR USN Mechanical Maintenance Trainer Asset Creation - Modeled/Textured highly detailed service machinery aboard a United States Navy Sea Wolf submarine to be used in virtual mechanical repair training. All assets modeled directly from blueprints and are fully interactive. Assets created utilizing the PBR development pipeline for high detail.
VR Project Management - Assisted with the design of a USAF A-10 flight simulator. Worked with customer to implement design features, hardware installation and production timeline.
